In his early years, Aniekan was a voracious reader of Christian literature, with a knack for enjoying Bible marginal notes and commentaries. He has an engineering background and studied and practiced Instrumentation & Controls Technology for nearly 30 years in the oil and gas industry. During that time, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry Leadership (a combination of biblical studies, leadership studies, and church administration) at Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, to strengthen his informal role as a Bible teacher and ordained elder in his local church.

 

Aniekan is happily married with four children and makes his home in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He also runs a Bible Teaching and Exposition Channel on YouTube titled ''Help Me Understand My Bible''.
